About and Contact Info
VintageGardenGal, is a blog written by Bonnie Manion who lives in Coastal North County San Diego and writes about gardens, garden antiques, chickens, travels, vineyards, wine, growing your own food, recipes, and the garden lifestyle.
Bonnie’s writings and artful living are a reflection of her love for the simple country life, as well as her time spent living abroad. She and her husband, John, have spent the last nine years transforming what once was a neglected acre of land into a beautiful and bountiful “gentleman’s farm”.
Besides her writing, Bonnie travels near and far for treasures for her garden antique business, Mon Petit Chou, which specializes in custom design vintage containers and styling.
A professed self-taught gardener, Bonnie has a B.S. Degree from the College of Agriculture at Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado. In addition, she has an International Business Certificate and Wine Technology Certificate from Mira Costa College, Oceanside, California.
